I managed to finish one of my knitting projects! I started it in October of 2015, and it’s been languishing since last November. But I spent Labor Day relaxing and doing some marathon knitting to finish it. Just needs to be blocked (which means I need to find my blocking mats).
And I then promptly started a new knitting project. But it’s small and I should have it finished in a week or so. The yarn is ITO Sensai silk/mohair. And I’m knitting it with one strand each of the Blush and Crocus held together – which is creating an interesting color which is hard to capture accurately.
I’ve made a little more progress on the Golden Ratio Blackwork Project as well- I’m estimating I’m just over 25% complete. The blackwork section I’m working on now, is very detailed and the stitching is sloooowww…
I’ve got another stitching project in the planning stages – once I have the fabric/colors all picked out, I’ll post some details. 😉
I may have also purchased some yarn for a couple other projects – I’m weak, what can I say… 😀
First up is the yarn for Purl Soho’s Shiny+Matte Wrap:
And then i bought the Worsted Weight Yarn for Purl Soho’s Linen Stitch Colorblock Wrap:
